The PGY2 in Ambulatory Care is designed to set up residents to practise independently as a clinical specialist in an ambulatory intendance setting. The resident is exposed to a variety of practice settings across the Northwestern Medicine wellness system to ensure a well-rounded experience. The resident serves as a central member of the ambulatory care team and assists in transitions of intendance to improve the safety of patients in the outpatient setting. - Pharmacy Practice: The resident will work to develop a new dispensary or expand services in an established clinic. The area where the resident completes this requirement may change from year to year.
- Longitudinal Clinic: The resident will spend two days every week in longitudinal main care focused clinics.
- Transitions of Care (weekend feel): The resident will work every 3rd weekend and holidays to ensure appropriate transitions of care from the infirmary to dwelling house. The services include counseling patients, ensuring admission to medications, and follow-up telephone calls afterward discharge.
- On-Call: The resident volition be on call for 7 weeks out of the year including holidays. The on-call experience will include Specialty Chemist's shop after-hour clinical questions and operational needs.
- Noon Conference: The resident is required to present at 2 noon conferences, one CE presentation, and practise presentations for the enquiry project. The resident may participate in a teaching document programme and may present didactic lectures based on available opportunities.
- Research: The resident will be required to complete and present a research project. Bridget Dolan, PharmD, BCACP
Bridget attended the University of Iowa for her undergraduate degree then proceeded to Midwestern University Chicago Higher of Pharmacy. Upon graduation she completed ii years of residency preparation: PGY1 at NorthShore University HealthSystem (2016-2017), and PGY2 in convalescent care at Northwestern Memorial Infirmary and Clinics (2017-2018).
Subsequently graduation Bridget served equally the outpatient clinical pharmacist in the Northwestern Medicine Specialty Pharmacy within the gastrointestinal disease state and osteoporosis then moved into a split role in women's health and fertility and internal medicine clinic. Bridget currently serves as an outpatient clinical chemist inside the Internal Medicine clinics assisting the value-based care team at Northwestern Medicine.
She is an active fellow member of the NMG Diabetes Quality Committee, where she focuses on developing the pharmacist and technician part for patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. She is the master preceptor to many IPPE and APPE students, PGY2 Administration resident, and PGY1 residents. She was the ICHP Convalescent Care Network Vice- Chair from 2019-2020 and so became the Chair for the 2020-2021 year. Her passion is to advocate for pharmacists within Illinois to hopefully achieve provider status in the future. Bridget loves working with the residents each year in fulfilling their career goals!

The PGY2 EM residency at Northwestern Memorial Infirmary and Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine & Science provides residents a challenging learning experience, with training in multiple intendance environments and with exposure to diverse patient populations. The PGY2 EM residency is funded by Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine & Science (RFUMS) College of Pharmacy and established and maintained by both the College of Chemist's shop and Northwestern Memorial Infirmary (NMH).

Daniel Wojenski is a native of Chicago, IL. He received his Bachelor of Scientific discipline – Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. The PGY2 Solid Organ Transplant (SOT) residency is a 12-month training plan focused on the delivery of optimal pharmacotherapy to solid organ transplant patients. The programme provides a broad experience in numerous transplant specialties to help develop clinical expertise and competence in caring for transplant patients. Residents will interact with multidisciplinary teams on inpatient rounds every bit well equally in the ambulatory care setting. Additional Activities

- Precepting Experiences: The PGY2 resident will be involved with precepting PGY1 residents and pharmacy students during their learning experiences.

Katie Cunningham, PharmD, BCPS, received her BS in Biology from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) and her Physician of Chemist's shop from the UIC Higher of Chemist's. She completed her PGY1 residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL and her PGY2 residency in Solid Organ Transplant at the University of Wisconsin Infirmary & Clinics in Madison, WI. Dr. Cunningham has been practicing in both the inpatient and outpatient settings caring for abdominal and lung transplant patients at Northwestern Memorial Hospital (NMH) since 2014. In 2017, Dr. Cunningham joined the Department of Pharmacy Exercise at Rosalind Franklin University as an Assistant Professor and maintains both her clinical position at NMH and her faculty role at the Higher of Chemist's. Dr. Cunningham is an agile fellow member of the American Society of Transplantation and serves on the executive lath of the Illinois Transplant Pharmacists Clan.
